Great this summerIf you live in New York City—or lurk about public media even a small bit—chances are you’ve come across these different and extraordinary sight: A huge, colorful planning of fresh flowers placed at a seemingly random location. Perhaps a larger-than-life bunch of forsythia and sunflowers broke from an empty city garbage can. Or a big garland of flower hung covering a image in Central Park.
These installations become therefore striking, they’ve likely caused you to stop in your tracks. They’ve and probably caused you to think the individuality in the genius bandit following these glorious acts.
The wizard bandit, it turns out, is Lewis Miller, a florist known for his fantastical got married and one arrangements. Over the last few months, he and his merry crowd of beautifiers have survived stealthily creating exactly what they call Flower Flashes. The goal? Only to bring joy to their other citizens’ daily commutes. “Gifting flowers to New Yorkers is a basic idea that I have been thinking about for years,” Lewis about. “I happen in the business of fantasy and floral, and it’s the employment to transform key times in my clients’ days in joyful, everlasting memories. I wanted to repeat the same feeling to the everyday city-dwellers and visitors of New York Area.”
Below, Lewis gives Fashion a closer look at the Flower Seconds, and shares what more we could demand by his burgeoning side project.

“With the head one, the Dream Mosaic with Middle Park, we became startled in how quickly a herd had constructed. And with this era of collective media, we discover the berries of our labor and survived immediately rewarded by Instagram! We got to see how our intention translated with real time with numerous selflies with images recording the roses throughout the course of the day. It was really great to see how people altered and revised the installation, sometimes with changing the roses, other instances with just showing them!”

“Who doesn’t like to get flowers? They live like a luxury, and New York Area is a very rough, fast-paced town. If you can provide nature—something mad with sumptuous—to New Yorkers and make them look, the way people smile when they experience a random enactment of kindness, then that is a good mechanism. That occurs my goal. It’s a very simple vision but deep, I think, to establish an emotional response in flowers.”
